haha - that's hysterical. I'll go ahead and add my #s for comparison here too. My payments are $475 mo ($32,541 is what I paid for the car, then minus my $8,200 trade in). And I have a brand new, 2007, GT/CS Convertible with every possible option, with the exception of the sound system (I just opted for the Shaker 500).

So, an 06 GT for $34,000? Me thinks not!

Well those people are stupid! If I can't get what I owe on trade in, then I have no business trading the car. Sometimes I'm ashamed to live in this country.

He wasn't necessarily screwed by the dealer - he may have had an upsidedown trade when he bought it. I used to sell Fords - you wouldn't believe how upsidedown some people are (btw, Dodge's and Mitsubishi's are the worst). Some, by the time I got them, had a trade that already had several previously upsidedown cars rolled into them already.

The length of the loan matter not. The problem is his payoff for the loan is $32,000 and the car when brand new wasn't worth anywhere near that much. Mine is an 06 premium gt with 11,000 miles and I owe $20,000 on my loan, maybe a bit less now.

$564 a month??? Holy snap. Thats like Corvette/Porsche payments right there. No spanks yoU!!!
yea looks like he screwed up on the months to pay it, my parents took 36 months on mine and the payment is like $500 something lol

I gotmy 07for 24,700. granted i had no trade in and i had no money down and my intrest rate is very high, all in all i got my car for 27,400 out the door. i had to put TT&L and all the other feesin to the loan or i would have got the car for less.

Someone will buy! But that person is going to buy it will have the worse credit in the world and not be able to buy on on his own. But then the guy will crash it and give it back to the other guy and say sorry. Then be stuck with a non driveable mustang and a 580 dollar payment.

Thank god for the Ford employee "D-Plan"!!!!! If I had to give that much, even with a negative trade-in, I just couldnt do the deal!! And I have walked away from many, even with D-plan, because of stuff like that. But, people will pay whatever it takes if they want it bad enough. And, you never know, maybe the circumstances at that time made it easy for that person to buy and now his situation may have changed. But, either way, its smart to plan and be preparedfor the "unexpected" events in life that could change your financial meens. "If I can afford it now, could I afford it if something was to change?"

26,600 here for an 07 GT with all options but shaker 1000 (Shaker 500). That guy is in a bad financial spot hope he finds a way out without screwing over someone else.
