i was backing out of a spot and cut the wheel to the left, then "crunch!!". my new frontpassenger side rim has a 1inch long gash! im so pissed at myself![:@]

Sorry to hear it. I was in Philadelphia last night and I rubbed the curb. I felt the tire hit and I immediatly stopped....backed up and repositioned. I sat in the car for a minute got out...took a deep breath and looked at the rim. No damage...I caught it just in time.

a little while ago i think i just disalinged my car. i wasn't even going that fast, i was doing like 40/ 50mph,and all of a sudden this hump comes out of nowhere [:@]i scratched my front lip and literally flew out of there, the car was like 1 or 2inches completely on the air i got scared and mad at the same time. aarrrggg stupid streets.

**** happens and Im sure its happened to all of us. Don't beat your self up too bad because it won't change anything. You will get over it as the days go by and the best part of it all is that its on the passenger side so you wont have to see it every time you get in your car

Oh you think you messed up? Walkin up to the movie theater last night and one of those Scion box lookin car/van things took a curb aboutthree feet too early and drug its entire side skirt on the curb! I don't know how the damn thing didnt just fall apart right there on the spot. Walking out of the movie and back to my car I saw where the same car had taken up two parking spaces. Clear case of either a new or drunk driver...maybe both haha, wish i woulda looked to see but I was too busy covering my eyes.[sm=smiley22.gif]

Sorry to hear that man! I was thinking about that potential just last night as I was pulling up along side a curb to park. One thing I have done is scrape the underside of my front valence ona curb. Its very lowwww....

I scraped my rim on a curb real good. Afriend at my insurance company said he could fix it. I said Bull, That it was scraped!!!. He said bring it to the body shop, In 5 Min, the rim was like knew, I could not tell where the scrape was, He said he repairs Mags all the time, even with a piece missing. I was impressed and happy.
My friend works at a Progressive repair shop , But just do a Google search for Wheel repair in your area.
