I have an 05 so the kit is a little different. But I found the directions to be very detailed and even contained pictures.

157db I must have missed your post cause I always mention the Meter4it kit on this forum when people ask about sequentials. If you haven't installed the CDC yet then send them back...

Also you can view the install manual online at:

Joolander, i just did this mod less than a week ago. I bought the cut and splice kit from webelectric. wasn't hard to do...good instructions....$89 vs $149, no duhhhhh i can splice wires.
Looks cool.
Yeah, I realise splicing wires isn't hard, I just want to be able to put it back to stock
I have the webelectric full harness ones. I love mine. Install went good, it was just a little bit more interesting because I have the shaker 1000, so its a little harder to reach the screws [8D]

Just one more reason not to get the Shaker 1000.[:@]
I have seen the insides of theamps that Ford uses
on their 500 and 1000 systems. They do not put
out a total of 1000Watts. The output devices are
not rated for that kind of power. Maybe 100Watts
max for the 500 and 200Watts max for the 1000.
The distortion levels are kinda high also. About
2% THD at full output. .01 % THD is normal
for good mobile amplifiers. FordOEM audio is
junk.[:@]

those of you with the meter4it kit, do you have to run a switch in the front?

GET METER4IT THEY ARE THE BEST!!! ALL THE OTHERS SUCK!!! I only say this cause Meter4it lets you choose which you want. Chase-Sequential-Normal. Why wouldn't you want that option?
Lets see, why would you not want chase lights?
Maybe because they are for show and not street legal?
One of the brake lights must come on and stay on while
the brake pedal is depressed. Chase function does not
do this as the first light turns off before the second one
comes on. Illegal in my state. CDC Plug and Play and
get $75 back for your stock harnesses. Same price as
splice and pray.

No, you have to access the module in the trunk to change modes.[:'(]
And there is timing you have to set up. The module is also really
big and wont hide behind the trunk liner.[:@]

And whats up with those crap%y scotchlock insulation displacement
connectors? meter4it is not the best as I was misled to believe by
Boozshey. He must own the company or something. Maybe a
kickback from everyone sold because of MF. Hes got an interest
in the company somehow. All his posts about sequentials starts
and ends with meter4it.

haha, you are getting all upset for nothing.

1.) I don't have any interest with Meter4it... Although I wish I did, cause I love the unit and would love to get a kick back.
2.) Yes all the posts end with Meter4it cause I my opinion it's the best product on the market.
3.) When you press the brake all the lights stay lit. Not sure what you were refering to. http://www.meter4it.com/Video/2005_Mustang/Chase2005Large.wmv Also, not sure of your state laws, but here in Florida I have been in front of several Cops and they haven't pulled me over.
4.) There is a timing issue initially, but all you have to do it press a reset button and it's all done. You might ask if it will come un-timed, I couldn't tell ya. But mine hasn't in 6 months.
5.) The module does hide behind the trunk liner on the driver side fender and has velcro so that you may attach it to the fender panel. (inside the trunk of course)

Next??
