I thought the correct offset was around 45, 5mm is less than 1/4" so they should fit pretty good I'd think.

what if they were 18s???
would that change the required offset???
I'm also planning on lowering the car about 1' in front and 1 1/2-2' in the rear.
what would be the best setup?

The fronts will fit fine. For the rear, measure your distance from the stock wheel mounted on the car to the closest object behind it (spring). If you have at least 1" clearance, you'll should be OK.
