Default Question please about..,

2005 and up stangs. Will shelby razors 20X9 5/4.5 with a 6" backspace fit? Some places I call say they will and some say no. WTF? I dont want to buy something that won't fit. Thanks

Is it 6" + or -? Are those like those offset rims that stick out past the car? Cuz when I calculate it, its 150 mm, which is gotta be some crazy offset deep dish stick out past the car type rim.

No just 6" Actually...I think I just found the answer. 6" backspace = 24mm offset and 6.5" = 40mm. Which is just the spacing of the deep dish..but I would still like confirmation from someone who knows for sure.

Ok, confirmed they will fit. Just orderedshelby razors 20X9 in gunmetal ,will post pics when I have them on.

Do not mount tires until you test fit (fr and rear). You can even get a good approx of how far they will stick out with tires when you test fit rim only.

Yes, a 24mm offset on a 9" rim will fit just fine.

Use plumb bob to get distance of OE rim from fender; remove OE rim. Boltnew rim up (do this on fr and rear), check all clearances. Use plumb bob to get distance ofnew rim from fender. With this you'll know how far outward these new rims will beover OE. Sounds like about 1.25" outward from what I've read here. ...never know for certain until you bolt rim up; my point is you don't need tires mounted to check these things.

Once you mount tires on the rims you own them (cannot return them)
