Now ..My Guess IS BAD TUNE, MAYBE BAD DRIVER(They would not Have a Bad Driver Though)

 

That's weird. I thought they are high 13's. They must weight quite a bit more than the older GT's.

 

Took my '05 to the track this weekend for a baseline run bone stock with the automatic tranny and ran a 13.71 @ 100.8 mph! Worst time all day was a 14.07 with some wheel spin. Not bad for stock.....but stock sucks!

05's drive, ride and handle better...so what if they make a few less hp and tq in the band you posted.
