I've got the Hidden Hitch on mine. I don't have a pickup and I'm not going to buy and insure a "beater" for the few times I need a trailer.

Here's the famous pic, but I don't know if that was a photochop...

Is there a tow rating? Seems you could put 200 on the hitch and tow about 2,000.
Personally, I would not want my car dipped in the salt water.

RE: trailer hitch?
My $0.02:
My wife (before she was my wife) had a 98 Mustang that she got used (in 2000) and it had a trailer hitch on it. The car was black, as was the semi hidden hitch, so if you weren't looking for it, you wouldn't know it was there. That having been said, I would not recommend getting a trailer hitch. As soon as she got the car, first day out, the rear end...well, it sounded like someone had stuffed a grizzly bear in the trunk. The entire rear end had been screwed up by someone hauling a trailer with the Mustang. The dealership promptly fixed it, and we never had a problem after that, but nor did we tow anything with it!

Do it, I did. They're just jealous they don't have a jet ski. With that hitch all you see is the square receiver, which is black, so it blends in real nice and is hardly noticeable. And by the way, it adds over 20 hp to boot

It's not jealousy. Folks just hate to see a "special" car get domesticated with that sort of hardware. Kind of takes away from the mystique. But do what you want. Hell, throw a bike rack on there and a Greenpeace sticker as well.

RE: trailer hitch?
Installed a hitch on my 06 Mustang for a bike rack, I did not want one hangingon the trunk lid scratching it up. Took it off after 2 months. Had rubbing soundsduring acceleration and road expansion joints from rubbing on bumper trim, my guess from body flexing. Hated to go down the road and hear noise like that. Hitch did not work well for me.
