Yeah but fake **** serve a purpose. As far as i'm concerned fake hood pins are LAME. Anyone that has them is no better than the ricer with the pvc pipe roll cage for "the look". Maybe you should buy one of those fake muscle suits like the circus guy too. Why work out when you can just do that? I think fake hood pins, hood scoops, and anything else there to imitate a valid purpose is stupid. It appears i'm the first hater to post on this one. We all have our opinions - there's mine lol.

Real ones here..but I also have fake 1/4 window scoops too.I see no problem with
fake parts...to a limit. I meanI seen a ranger before with the glue on header tips (from wal-mart)
on top of his hood,AND the bottom of the fender. Now thats when I call fake parts lame.
As for customizing your ride in good taste without going over the limit Its all good,
Its your canvas paint it how you like !!

ORIGINAL: evanGTs

Ok .. I have FAKE HOOD PINS .... but .......
1. I do car showsI do not drive a 100 miles an hour everyday
2. The quality of my FAKE HOOD PINS is farsuperior than any REAL ONES I have seen
3. w/ my hood open at shows the pins do not dangle down and the kids have nothing pull on
4. w/ the hood up the appearance of hood pins .. stays intact
In Closing if you race get real ones .. for shows I like FAKE .. Do what you like .. we all do not share the same taste

I had to go with real ones, the Steeda competition race hood needed them. It was bouncing all over the place before I got them.

Fake hood pins are lame and it does meet the definition of ricer. At the same time you have a great looking automobile and I would not park mine next to yours at a car show...nobody would give mine a second glance. I have added certain things to my car that unfortunately do not enhance the look and in fact make it look and ride worse. My car alas would never win a beauty contest....yours might.
