Default Rear Brake Noise.....

06 Satin Silver GT
Had the car to the dealership for a bad dash board vent that keeps closing and a rear brake noise pass. side. Had the mechanic test drive w/ me and he heard the noise. Solution was to cut the rear rotors because of glazing and scuff the pads. Had the car back for 3 days and now the noise is worse than before! Noise only happens when i am slowing down between the speed of 40 and 25 mph. Should i take it back to them again? If so.....what do i ask them to do? Replace the pads and or rotors? Do i not go back to them and get aftermarket pads? I dont want them to have to cut the rotors again! Should i just live with the noise? Please respond!

Its a known problem that you have.
They will have to order the parts and take the rear end apart.
The ford dealer you took your car too should have known better then trying to screw yeaaaa.
Get it fixed,,,its very annoying while you are turning at a very low speed and hearing it.JT

Its not a brake noise im hearing. It sounds like metal to metal rub/grinding. Mine comes out during accel at lower speeds.

As I said its a major problem if left alone.....
Take your car to another dealer and let them hear the noise from the back while you are making a very slow turn....I forgot what they called the noise but Ford knows about the problem and they have fixed many cars with the same noise.

Ive noticed the same thing in my car. I get a clicking sound when i turn the wheel at lower speeds but i also noticed a clicking sound in the rear when i am slow down between 25 and lower. The issue here is i only notice the sound when i have my 20" rims on. One mech. thought it was the pad chaddering, my ford dealer thought it was the traction control on my rear or something was wrong with the rear. Im going to go back and ask them again. Let me know if you find anything out

When you are making a slow turn at a very slow speed to will hear a noise sometimes but not always.
The problem is to replaced the rear end clutch pack.......
Many dealers still don't know this problem but the people that have this trouble should let them know what the FIX is....JT

I do believe that there is a tsb on the park brake cable for sticking.
