Blacking out the pillar?

Blacking out the pillar?
Alright well I may not own a Mustang myself but my brother does, I personally drive a ram I love. But I was looking through the DodgeTruckWorld forums and came across a post about using vinyl (or paint) to "delete" the post between windows. My brother just having bought a new Mustang GT in the mineral grey I wanted to see the difference, so I went in to photoshop.
btw, this is not my picture originally and I do not take credit for it (but I do take credit for the photoshopping.) I think the person was trying to show a lowering they did to their Mustang GT, anyways sorry if it is yours.

Has anyone done this yet? I havent seen it (but I also havent looked through the galleries here). If I had a Mustang and I did it, I would probably do it in a flat black. Anyways what do you think.. If you use vinyl it would be a very cheap mod, and might just be teeth grinding to get it perfect with the window lines but it would definitely look cool. I know a few of you might think it wrecks the lines of the original mustang but mixed with an unpainted ABS (or plastic) window cowl (or shield? I don't know what they call it) it might have a nice look to it.
When I get bored I like to mess around with stuff like this.. if you have any ideas I can try I guess.

It's a little different. Not sure how I feel about it. I really thought the window needed something and put 3d Carbon on mine. However, I'm not sure if I wouldn't have tried that if I would have thought of it?

I guess you could call it a mod for people that want the Japanese 350Z look. Not for me! It is pretty hard to improve on the perfection Ford created with the Mustang GT. In my opinion most all of the aftermarket stick on stuff just distracts from the beauty of the design.

Certainly not my cup of tea, but ya, someone has thought about it.....

Yeah looking at it again I guess it doesn't really work all that well by itself. I could see it fitting in with full hockey stick, window cowls, done up like a BOSS etc. I just like it because it give you a chance to get creative and make something that goes with the lines of the car. And in person with the flat black it would stand out, but not sorely, unless of course, you are in love with that pilar.
