Default Door Handles

Along with the clunking issue that I still have not resolved with Ford yet.....I noticed my outer door handles are starting to loosen up. The passenger handle is loose and the driver's handle after opening the door does not go back in all the way (you have to push it in for it to be flush). Anybody else?

Yup,

driver side on mine. Dealer suggested clear spray silicone on it. I have not tried it yet. I will post results when I do.

My driver door handle was also replaced under warrant for the same thing.

My driver door handle was replaced 18 months ago. Now it looses again ( just a little, not as bad as the first time ). I will take it to the dealerwhen the car needs oil change.

Loosey here also. Popped the door panel and lubed her up.
No problems now and no new scratches from a stealership
trip.Warranty work = paint damage for me - everytime.

You let the dealer change your oil?

Me too! Driver side, not passenger. It's annoying! I like the fix-it-myself idea better. Not worth leaving my car at the dealer for a day when obviously it's not days work
