Can't believe I'm doing this but I do need some opinions. This is the hood I am getting and I am having some nice fat stripes painted on the car. I'm also having the side stripe painted and that will have the trim line on the top and bottom so the question is...

Just the stripes or the the stripes with the pin striping like shown in the pic?

I think it looks good with or without pinstripes. I kinda like the pinstripes and then again i kinda like no pinstripes.

I love the classiness of the pinstripes with that hood, somehow the extra width they add look awesome on the cowl especially. Are you running the same front fascia too? I've got to say that pic you posted is the [sm=badbadbad.gif] HOTTEST [sm=badbadbad.gif], you can't go wrong with that look! <<IMHO>>

At least my hood is for a friggin' REASON...I need to get more air accross that KB...

To who asked about the front fascia - NO, I have a roush body kit with Cervini scoops and 1/4 window covers. I am adding this cervini hood for the air flow. Has a nice 2" lift to get some much needed air into my engine bay. I've never liked the roush vinyl stripes but knew I would get a hood someday and was waiting till then to paint the stripes.

 

With pinstripes..

 

It looks fine, although original GT350/500s & Cobras didn't have pinstripes next to their "Le Mans" stripes. I believe GM started the pinstriping surrounding their "rally" stripes in the late 60's................
I think you see what my vote is
