The purpose of stripping a mustang is to give it a bold look. IMHO penstripes are not bold nor are they edgey. Stick with a simple "old school" look. I did.

At least my hood is for a friggin' REASON...I need to get more air accross that KB...
To who asked about the front fascia - NO, I have a roush body kit with Cervini scoops and 1/4 window covers. I am adding this cervini hood for the air flow. Has a nice 2" lift to get some much needed air into my engine bay. I've never liked the roush vinyl stripes but knew I would get a hood someday and was waiting till then to paint the stripes.

fwiw, i have a 07 vista blue gt w/o stripe. i was debating about getting one put on... today pulling into work someone had a brand new 07 shelby in vista blue with the bright white double stripe. i hated it. so glad i didn't get it. it took off the whole look of the car... but to each his own.

I also have a Vista-Blue, in a GT Vert, was thinking about the big stripes. I would have them in tan to match the inside leather. BUT I also want the cal-dream hood...... So for now I wait
uh um I am sorry, but this was about you, Look for another stang same color as yours with the stripe to get the idea what it will look like. Also check this stripe link:

Funny you mention that... we had the chance to see our car with the 2 10" stripes installed... when the installed added the pins at the end, it looked complete - hot - finished!

look guys, it was fine to do the look-alike Shelby cobras, BEFORE they were really here, but now that they make a real one, your cars are all just a FAKE or the REAL DEAL. I know that sounds cruel, but its true, I love the GT500 but it is here... Damn, now I have to look to something else, but with this body, I have all the options availible.... its so hard to be different when they all look like shelbys..[:@]
