have you roadforce balanced the wheels? that should tell you if theres a problem with the rim or tire.

try roadforcing them first.. then after that i would say maybe check alignment.. and then after that.. deal with the fact that your running a 20inch rim, and you have a low profile tire, and you going to get some vibrations or difference then when it was stock..

ps... i work at discouint tire.. so if you have any ?'s.. PM me

I just recently moved from 20s to 18s and all my steering wheel vibrations are gone. I didn't realize how bad highway driving was with 20s until I got the 18s.

I just got my 20's put on and I have the same problem. I did lwer my tire pressure to 35psi and a lot of it went away. I still have some shake between 48mph and 65mph and then it goes away. I'm going to go doen to 33 or 34 psi this weekend. If that doesn't work I'm going to have them roadforced balance. Also, I noticed after I put some miles on the tires, it's getting a little better.

I will say this again, a shake is a balance issue only. Alignment never causes a shake. A perfect balance would have hammer on weights on the inside and outside lips of the wheel but since most aftermarket wheels are finished most shops only throw stick on weights on the inside of the barrel. This is too close to the center of the wheel and usually wont give a true balance, only a close balance. If you are worried about looks then have the shop use a hammer on weight on the inside of the wheel and place a stick on weight as close as possible to the face of the wheel as possible. This is what I had done to my 20's and dont have a single shake.

+1 on balance issue. If they wobble, then they are out of balance or buckled.

Ive been in the tire industry for almost 15 years, that statement is the biggest load of corporate gobbelty gook ive ever heard. 1. you shouldnt be offering alignments for a shake. 2. just because he has 20's doesnt mean that there will be a shake. 20's and low pros are very easy to balance if you know how to balance. Most guys who balance just dont know how to use their machine and figure all wheels are balanced the same. Those Foose wheels are known for bad castings and not being true, ive sent back many of them for out of round issues.
