Default RE: Hurst Vs. Stock.. (I DONT MIND THE STOCK THROW)

wow thanks for all the replys guys..

big help.. i think i may end up doing this in the future.. i have a couple things before this though .. (side scoops, 1/4 window, chin maybe.. ) i dunno

but you guys deffinately helped as always!.. thanks again..

also..

Example 2-3 shift. Full Throttle, preload shifter with about 15 lb of force on a diagonal vector with just heal of the hand. Stab edge of clutch pedal with your foot on angle rolling ankle as the clutch depresses. Foot should roll off side ofclutch just as the shifter pops into third gear. Done correctly you should not even feel the gates. Just bang! One continous lightning fast motion.
that is bad ***.. and i am way to freakin scared to attempt it in my car.. i can only imagine and think how sweet it would be to see that sitting in the passenger seat.. i wish i coudl just watch and learn..

thanks for the info.. (do a video!!!!!!)

later

I absolutely love my hurst. It went in tonight in around an hour. Just like everyone said, take your time getting it through the hole. It is the first mod and i am in love. My dad had one in his old car and it just looks so good in these new ones.

You will love the Hurst shifter once you get used to it. I had mine installed by a local shop today and they did it in about 40 minutes. Didnt take long to get used to the new feel. You can definatly tell when it goes in gear.

I have a Hurst with a T-handle and I love it, only problem here in South Florida is the heat, at the end of the day when I get in my car I end up branding the Hurst name in the palm of my hand.
