Default headers

I just bought headers, pulley, and throttle body.

If I was to get this installed how much should it be??

How hard is it to do it myself??

maybe around 400-600 for install

if your mecanically inclined it should be fairly simple.
the pullies and t-body will be easy, but i imagine the headers will not

dont forget your also need a tune

If they are shorty headers it will be fairly easy. LT headers your are looking at around $600-$800 for install. In most cases the engine needs to be lifted a bit. It's a p.i.t.a.

+1 on the Long tubes! They cost me $700.00 to get installed! Probably not something you want to do yourself.

I paid about 550.00 for the install of my LTHs at Meineke. Yes, that have to lift the engine a bit. You can't do it yourself unless you have the equipment to do that.

For anyone in the middle Tn area, we do them for $250 (shorties or L/T's). You may want to think twice about the T/B.

No lie, it is a PITA to do headers on your back, but doable. No special tools required as all you need is a jack to lift the motor about an 1". I may have considered $250 for an install, but sure as hell would not pay the kind of money listed above. Here's a write up on the Kooks install but pretty much applies to all L/Ts.
