Default Hurst Shifter Black Ball

Does anybody know where to get the black ball for the Hurst shifter? The white is nice but the interior is black and I think it would look a bit nicer in black. Hurst has them but said it wont fit the 05-07 chrome stick that fit our shifters (different thread pitch). Anyone heard of this or know where to get one that works? Thanks.

I bought a Universal black ball shifter (from a So-Cal Speed Shop vendor at a Good Guys car show) for the Hurst shifter in my Corvette...Came with these different thread sleeves that you just thread into the ball, then spin the ball down to a set point.

I'm pretty sure you can get them with the correct thread pitch, and at worst, you get a tap and tap the thread sleeve out to the thread sizing you need.

So TrIpOd, part #163-0108 is what I want if I've already installed the Hurst shifter, right?
