RE: S-197 your first stang?
S197 will be mine and my motheres first stang. Both will be GT's but since there not sold here its a little different. She saw a black one the other day and shes totally in love with the car. I personally want an S197 as a daily driver and I want a 69 fastback to restore though, I love the 69 more than the others for some reason even though most people say the 67 is nicer.
I just want a classic to restore and for use as a fun car. I know for a fact where a live a classic stang would get more attention than a ferrari and thats what I want. Yes im an attention seeking ***** I know. But im doing it in a cool car

S-197 is my second stang. My first car was an '84 Mustang notchback, V6, auto, tan w/tan interior. It was an ugly beater (rattle can paint, cracked dash, headliner held up with staples) but I loved that car and still kick myself for selling it, but at the time my parents didnt want any extra cars in their driveway. It never ran right (first year of CFI on the 3.8 i believe) but never broke down. I even took it to Canada and to Mexico from Oregon. It had 123,000 miles on it when i bought it in 98 and had 175,000 when I sold it in '04 and still didnt burn any oil. I'd like to buy a fox-body again someday.

This is my second, my first was 93 LX 5.0. I bought it new and drove it for 6 years, then gave it to my dad. It's still running strong with almost 200K miles and only had a clutch change, which I burned out in my younger days. I had 3.73's, GT40 upper and lower and a K&N.

This is my 10th car, but my second mustang. My first was an '88 Mustang GT Convertible. I bought it in '03 for $1500. It was a 25th Anniversary model, with 70k original miles. Needed a bit of TLC. 3 months later it was totaled. Loved it and when the '05 came out I was instantly in love. I love my '07 GT and I plan on having it for a long time!
