Some pics of their progress.
They said they are going to use a stroked out 4 valve 5.4L mod motor
with huge twin turbos.
Hope to see 1600+rwhp and run mid to high 7's
They're biting their nails on the mod motor making the power
vs using a Windsor, but going to give it their best.
Long way to go, but should be cool

Probably so. I wish they would use the 4.6 though, it would make it much more interesting. I saw awhile back a 350z that ran in the 6's using the 3.5L engine it came with, I would enjoy seeing the Mustang do better.

Looks like its for sale too, only $125,000! They claim 2000hp , 6.72 @ 212 mph, and the car weighed 2750 lbs.
Given an unlimited budget, would it be possible to get 2000hp out our our 4.6's?
