7sec S197
figured give you guys a heads up.
My tuner ( Fastlane - Houston, Tx. ) has just started a from the ground
up 7sec - S197 project shop drag car.
www.fastlaneincorporated.com
So far they have a factory bare S197 uni-body chasis with 2 massive
12" slicks mocked up under it.
They had to cut out the entire back seat and rear floor board sheet metal to
get them under there.
They have a super custom 9" axle housing just got in for it too.
Probably going to take them all year to get it built, but I'll try and keep yall posted.
I will also grab some pics and post em up for yall first thing next week when I go back up there.

RE: 7sec S197
Oh yeah definitly a custom build from ground up
But what 7 sec drag car isnt anything but a shell that "looks"
like some production car.
Not sure what they have in mind for power.
These guys like their turbo mod motors so a stroked out 3V with
some huge turbo set-up will not surprise me. I just dont see them
putting a pushrod windsor in there, but dont know.
They're already running 9's with their shop twin turbo S197 Roushe now
I'll be sure to ask what their plans are in that arena.
I think they are doing it mostly cause no one has built
one out of an S197 shell yet and they want to be first.
