11 sec. bottle baby
finally installed zex system and sprayed the 75 shot. temp was 93 and a humidity of 67 and pulled a 11.97 at 111.70 with a 1.665 60'. what is the most any of you have sprayed with the stock fuel pumps without going lean. I would like to take it up to the 150 shot next weekend for the mad ford weekend in ark city, ks but I dont have a wide band air fuel gauge yet. will order one on monday, but may not have time to install it before the weekend

RE: 11 sec. bottle baby
Nice to know I could run 11's with a 75 shot. What tires were you using? I'm assuming you were spraying some in 1st. I'm trying to decide between the edelbrock 80hp plate system or the NX plate system. I know the NX is probably superior, but it's also almost $300 more. The edelbrock 80 shot might actually be closer to 100 since they got 50 hp at the wheels with the 50 shot in the article I read.

Im running the 325/50/15 drag radialson Bogart wheels and automatic trans. I sprayed from off the line. Thanks for the info Norse By the way I normally run 12.7s on motor and was only able to run 12.90s because of the heat and humidity. need some cool air and see what it will do

RE: 11 sec. bottle baby
I was told above 125 shot with out changing the fuel pump can be risky. I'm running a 125 now but still plan to have the pump changed next week to the Gt pump just to be safe (along with installing a window switch). I don't have a wideband F/A (looking into one) but it sounds like a good investment if your going to shoot more than 125. For my part I think I'll stay with the 125.

RE: 11 sec. bottle baby
that sounds like a good plan, I will bump to the 125 shot and order me a a/f guage and install gt 500 pumps before I go up to the 150 I'll post the improvements next weekend after a get back from the track
