The front driver side seat is becoming severely discolored on the bottom section right where your legs go over the seat. I started out using armorall leather cleaner/conditioner and moved to the meguiars about a year into owning the car. When using the cleaner you can literally see the black coming off onto the towel. And apparently after reading some posts, I've found out the entire interior isn't leather? Anyone else had this problem? Suggestions?

 

Oh, and it hasn't done this anywhere else in the car. Just that one section.

 

From what I can tell on my Leather Seats ... only the center inserts are leather ... the bolsters and entire back of the seats are pleather. Also ... the entire rear seat is pleather ... no leather back there ... I use turtle wax cleaner also ... I have not had any black come off of mine yet though ...

 

i have the red leather and i started using the mothers leather cleaner and conditioner, and i found that if i use the cleaner on the parts that aren't leather it just takes the color right out, so a small portion of my front seat is pink. Use the cleaner/conditioner on the real leather part, and use the one step wipes or vynil protectant on the pleather.
