Too BIG?

RE: Too BIG?
I have 20s and drive my car regularly with no problems. I think 20" wheels are fine for a daily driver, and I don't believe they drive/handle more poorly, or that they are any more more susceptible to road damage, etc. The 20s can add more rotating mass, but some 20s are lighter than 18s, and if you are worried about the tenths of a second that 20s may take off your 1/4 mile time, then get some light, alloy 20s and a carbon fiber driveshaft.
My guess is that most folks who have such complaints about 20s have never actually owned 20" wheels.
And here's a picture of my ride on 20s:

I've always believed that form should follow function, so 20"s are not for me. In fact, I just bought some 17"s to replace my 18" stockers.

I think whatever you want to do, do it, put the 20's on, you'll be in the "in crowd! Whatever "floats your boat", its your car!
Personally, I don't like anything bigger than 18's, and really like 17's, especially on a Mustang.
The bigger sized wheels to me are more suited for the European/ Import syle cars, whereas the Mustang looks better (esp the retro S197's) w/ a smaller, more traditional wheel like the 17's....and I like a higher profile tire, too, I like to see alot of tire. Maybe I'm too much of a traditionalist, but thats the way I see it. I like a stock looking, sleeper type of car that has the aftermarket stuff hidden (as in under the hood to go fast), versus wheels, and body kits, and blackouts, etc. leave the rice to the ricers!!! And of course, JMHO!!!

RE: Too BIG?
Iwas a little unsure about sticking 20's on mine as I'd already dropped it 1.5" but I needn't have, they fit perfectly with no rubbing. It's all personal preference, some like more tyre profile, some like less.
My wheels are pretty heavy although I don't know byexactly how much, a few kilos more than the 17's for sure.

I was thinking about getting 20" put on my stang. But some people have told me that it would be too big and not look good. What do you think?
