Yes, another caliper painting question (sry)
I did a search of the forums and only found a couple of older threads that mentioned my issue, and there was never follow-ups to them, so I thought I'd post anew.
I would like to paint my calipers, but my car is Redfire in color and most red caliper paint that I've seen is much lighter and brighter than that and, I think, would clash with my more "candy apple" body color. So, my question is two-fold!
1) Any other color suggestions for the calipers? Would love to see some pics of what someone else with a Redfire has done.
2) Can the paint sold by companies such as PaintScratch.com - who produce perfect matches based upon the car's color code - be used on the calipers? I wouldn't think so, as their products are more designed for the actual car body - I would think you need something designed to stick on the surface of the calipers, plus withstand heat and road grime - but I don't always know what I'm talking about...haha.
Thanks guys, gals!

Black goes with ALL colors, never seen a Redfire caliper.......gold or bronze as alternates

I looked at the link Sherwood06GT posted, I'm going to have to hit up Checker Auto for the price on one of the Duplicolor kits.
I have an 06 Redfire 'Stang, I want to paint my calipers satin black but am hesitant - I've seen some really crappy jobs on calipers. Does anyone have pics of calipers painted with these types of kits? I'd love to see a satin black caliper job!

I'm liking these "gold" suggestions. To go with the interior. (Tan just wouldn't cut it.)
