Default Replacement Battery

Well my dads stang has been taking longer on startups and died this tuesday and had to be boosted so it seems that the battery is gonna go might be partially cause of the sound system but he runs a cap but anyway just wondering what options we have? Have they made an optima battery that fits? If so what color would be the best and what size?

Yellow top.
The cap is for bursts of power.
You need to get that alternator
replaced with a bigger one. Its
the power producer, not the battery.
The battery is a storage device.

Have they got an upgraded alternator for the S197s? I've not looked, but kinda curious...

Well the cap helps and mostly eliminates diming lights. But thanks will look into replacement alternators and the yellow tops.

Is this the alternator your talking about 157db? http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/ite...sp?T1=GL905+01, and is it better than the factory one? Looks the same?
