Default Problematic fuel pressure regulator on 2005?

Anyone had any trouble with their fuel pressure regulator. I have been running up against hard starts and had the battery alternator fuel pump checked. So far they have not found a problem. I read an article about how the fuel press. reg. can make it difficult to start. I haven't had that checked yet and seems simple enough, just wondering if anyone else had some input. Thanks.

Yeah ive seen this before. Another GT on this forum had similar problems. If you can smell gas when sitting in you car, its def the regulator.

since it might be a fuel related issue, you might take
a look at the fuel filter, just to make sure everything
is fine, then move on to the regulator

also, make sure there is no problem with the fuel pressure
sensor vacuum line (on driver side fuel rail).
