Default Shift Boot

I have the Hurst short throw and am still using my stock shift boot.

Any suggestions on a replacement boot?

thanks!

I think we're pretty much all using the stock boot with the Hurst. What are you looking for in a different boot? Different material, color?

I have a Redline Goods leayher shift boot. Its black leather with red stitching. I think it looks way better. Let me try to find the pic.... I will post it up later. Its at the house, not work

Hoping to find a boot that will match up with the **** better. I don't like the look when I push the boot down and expose the arm. If I bring up the boot to the ****, it looks funny because the top of the boot is a rectangle.

Can't quite see.

I have a hard piece of plastic at the top. A flat rectangle. Can I take this off without ruining the boot?

Well, yes, you can remove it (it came with the shifter) but then the boot won't fit the shifter properly.

I don't know, I think they look great with the stock boot.
