Abigger bar up front will hurt you in autocross. You actually need to free the car up on an autocross course.Leave the rear alone and switch to a V6 front swaybar. Swaybars reduce body roll but they also reduce grip - which is why i'm going back to stockers.

Seriously? Leaning and stuff is good for autocross???

As for the guy above... If you mean bumps as in your rear tires are hopping as you accelerate, this is a common problem and you need aftermarket rear lower control arms to combat this. I have some, with poly-urethane bushings, and my axle hops. Get some polu-u/rod end ones, or even rod/rod if you're done with some ride harshness.

So are you sure? Ive always learned that the car needs to be stiffer.

I thought it worked like this.... The more level the car is, like with strong sway bars, then the more the weight on tires will be properly distributed. If you let the car roll too much, then more weight is pressed on the outside wheel, and thusly you lose grip easier. Therefore stronger bar = less roll = better weight distribution per tire = better grip

Yes?

I have the same problem. I also wouldnt mind hearing some solultions to this. I upgraded my springs and shocks to D-Specs but so far the settings I have tried havent yeilded very stable results while driving over bumps at high speed. The steering wheel gets very squirlly. Maybe I havent set them stiff enough.

I have my D-Specs set to 5 turns up front and 4 out back.

its like my stock settings are too stiff as if my shocks cant absord the bump for what it is, i just get thrown around. my old cadillacs handled these roads with no problem i dont get it

At "normal" speeds I have no problems atall and the car rides very well on the D-specs. I am very happy with the shocks, they helped tons with my ride comfort after the install of lowering springs. However on high speed runs on somwhat bumpy roads the steering is indeed still a handful. So Ive resorted to only gunning it on smooth roads...not really a huge deal but I also wonder weither there is a fix or perhaps a better setting on my D-Specs.

yeah exactly... i only get to gun it on smooth roads, but occasionally when switching highways getting on or off ramps ill hit a bump.. ive never crashed or been close but id rather my suspension just handle it and not have to brace myself for bumps and slow down... it seems to bother me more than anyone...
