When are they going to start production on the 2008 Mustangs? I've heard that they were to start in the end of June, but for some reason, the production date was pushed. (don't know how true this was). I want to go into fordvehicles.com andclick onthe section on Build Your Car, just to see what is offered in various packages, and their MSRP. (they still only have the 2007s listed in the Mustangs).

Anyone with connections know when they start?

Anybody know when they are supposed to start arriving? I have one on order and am the first to order from my dealer. My sales guy has no clue as to a hard delivery date.

 

I ordered a 2008 Vista Blue GT/CS on 5/22. My sales guy gave metheVIN number two weeks ago but has noidea when to expect delivery.

 

Before I order (if I order), I want to see the options and packages listed in fordvehicles.com so I can make up my mind at my leasure, not with a salesperson standing over me and having to make a quick decision.

I'm not in any hurry and would rather buy out of dealer stock. I've been burned twice in the past with cars that I ordered.

I may also buy either a leftover 07 or a used 07 but it must have the options I want. Found a used 07 at a dealer about 50 miles equiped correct at a very reasonable price and may go to have a look next week. A couple weeks ago, my local dealer found a couple equiped the way I want by doing a dealer search, and I may go that route. No hurry yet as I still want to see option/equipment list for the 08's in fordvehicles.com (or any other ford website that you might know of that has this information).

I'm ordering mine in 30 days so it will be there when I get back from Iraq. He said I could order now but then It will just sit there for a while
