Default Any dyno or 1.4mile numbers on aluminum driveshafts?

I keep thinking about getting one... I know this has been asked before, but no hard results posted. Some say 2/10ths in the 1/4 mile.. Has anyone done dyno results though?

Its just a lot of money you know!!!! Im still torn.

This is not a dyno mod. I had mine put in at PowerHouse while doing some other things and was told that I wouldn't see an increase in dyno #'s, which makes sense.
What this does is reduce rotational weight, makes the car feel a ton smoother on acceleration and gives peace of mind when trapping at 100mph+
It will cut down on et's as well. My guess is at least a tenth. Good mod? You bet.

I had mine installed last week. No vibrations and the car runs great. It will help with your mps as well because of the reduced wait. A very good investment.

How come DS does not give HP gains? It seems like your wheels should faster, while sitting on a dyno machine, at slightly slower RPMs that they would've with the regular DS, therefore increasing speed at every given RPM. ??

The best dyno #'s I've seen from mine was 8hp increase but Dyno Joe did an install for modified mustang magazine a while back and that car dropped almost 4 tenths 1/4 mile!! (an extreme example)
my car dropped .21 and most of my customers that have tested them got about 2-3 tenth reduction in e.t. most of which comes in the first 1/8 mile.
it does help on the dyno but since the dyno doesn't measure how quickly the engine revs it just doesn't show there. It's on the street and at the track where you will notice the difference. Allowing the engine to rev quicker means the car will accelerate quicker. It doesn't gain you hp it allows you to use your existing hp to move the car not turn the drivetrain.
I've done same day track tests and also allowed others to perform these independently and the results are always consistant.
e.t. drops of approx. 2+ tenths for N/A cars and 1-2 tenths for s/c cars(due to more available torque)

Since an aluminum DS can take away some 'dampening' from the engine... Will it be a bad mix with UDPs? (GOt Steeda's coming...)
