I don't have any experience with them on the new 3v 4.6s, but from my reading, they are nothing but trouble. Trouble meaning little or no performance gain + lots of tuning headaches.

a throttle body spacer will increase plenum volume and in my opinion increase throttle sensitivity, and maybe give the illusion of more part-throttle torque.

the sound that it makes is not desireable. you know the intake sucking noise that you can notice when you step into the throttle with a really big open CAI? its amplified with an obnoxious whistle.

a TB spacer won't really cause problems. the air is still being metered in the same fashion. it just changes the proportions of the plenum size.
