I've had one on my car for two years and I love it. but every time I say anything positive about it I get flamed by everyone who has never even installed one. What I can tell you from my personal experience is that I am getting about 2-3 extra miles/gallon in the city and there is a noticeable throttle response increase. The car spins up much faster in first gear. But I am told it's all in my imagination. All I know is that I removed it when the Ford Plenum covers came out and I immediatley missed it. My gas mileage went down and I needed a lot more throttle in first gear. I wound up modifying the Ford Plenum cover and re-installing the TBS.

BTW, I have the Jet TBS and it does not make any whistling noise either. But then again, I don't know anything about this stuff and everyone who has never owned one tells me it's all BS so I must be imagining it

Just do a search on this forum and you will find some threads that go into the technical detail about why they are not benificial in any way for our cars. Lets put it this way....I put the GT500 TB with a spacer on mine and the gas didnt do **** and i got no gains either....the throttle was a little crisper and that was it. I got the kit supercheap so that was the only reason of even doing it cause aftermarket TBs dont do **** for NA cars either...most cause problems.

The only way to get the true potential out of a TB spacer is to buy a tornado at the same time. If there's enough room in your intake, two or three tornados are even better.
