Go for the Ford Racing for 1 main reason, peoples experience with them. They are a Ford product made for a Ford. I would definitely go 4.10. Youll also need a tuner if you dont have one for the recal of the speedo.

It's been my experience on this forum that there are three ways to start a multipage, ugly, world war three style thread:
1. say that sixxers suck
2. say that automatics suck
3. start an frpp vs. motive thread
That being said, I happenned to order my gears today and did the extra legwork and spent the extra money for the frpp gears and install kit...I've read that ford cuts the gears a special way for the new 8.8 rear, and that motives may whine even if installed perfectly...also read to stay away from frpp gears with part number ending in "M"since those are made for ford by motive (you want the ones that end in "A")...okay, now it's time for some to agree and some to rip me to shreds...here we go!

2) Whats your driving style/habits? Do you spend alot of time on the highway or city streets? those questions will determine which gear set works best for "you"
3)The auto trannyactually has a slightly taller(?) gear making the 3,73's a better "match" for the automatic's than 4.10's. This doesnt mean 4.10's wont work just means 3.73's are better for that particular setup
Another way to start a word war is to quote Richie
, and I wouldnever buy a sixer that just means your 2 cylinders short (J/K)

Go 3.90 if you use freeways or take trips a few times a year.

I cant believe Im even responding to this when the guy should've searched...
Also, Motive is a company. Ford Racing is another company. They both make great gears. Some people say Motives can whine, but many experts ive read from say its all in the install. Ford Racing does not make 3.90, only Motive and another smaller company.
