I'm going to the track on Wednesday for the 1st time EVER...
Should I switch to my 93 tune from my 87 Brenspeed tune? Will it make a different in the 1/4? Also, any suggestions, hints, tips, etc...? Thanks all
I'm hoping to get in the 13's with this automatic weapon.

In S/S, someone posted dyno #'s that showed they gained like 6-8 RWHP with a 93 tune and not an 87.
I'd say the extra RWHP would help a little, but not a ton.

[ul][*]If you are running street tires, avoid the waterbox.[*]Don't melt street tires with a big burnout - just spin them enough to clean them off.[*]Don't worry about your reaction time. Unless you're bracket racing, the timer doesn't start 'til you move the car. Instead, concentrate on revs and keeping your tires from goin up in smoke off the the line.[*]Turn off your AC.You can be pulled outa the staging lanes if they see your compressor dropping water on the ground.[*]Turn off your traction control system.[*]If it's hot, let the car cool off for at least 30 minutes with the hood up between runs.[*]But most of all - HAVE FUN![/ul]

I'll reiterate this from the above post---TURN OFF THE TCS!!! And if you should turn off the car between laps---TURN OFF THE TCS!!!
It's a little embarassing.
