Getting impatient.......
It's a lot of bodywork... plus look at it this way, when my honda got hit I took it to a shop and was rolling in an 04 corolla for 3 weeks and all the had to do was the bumper cover. bodyshops are not mechanic shops-- they do take a lot of time to finish the job and i'd say so far they're doing fine with ur car.

...also, make sure he knows to clean the pieces and do an epoxy primer, otherwise all that nice paint WILL peel off in sheets!!

I will take the advice given from all and will chill out and let the man do his work.........
I'd give him a call and ask him when it will be ready to pick up. When you do pick it up, be sure to go over it completely BEFORE you hand over the money. Make sure you also get an itemized receipt. If you think it took long to get the original work done, you won't believe it when you try to get something touched up.
Good luck. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait!

Good prep is what takes the largest amount of time. As lay people we think nothing is being done if the paint hasn't been sprayed......but in reality a monkey could paint the car. What makes the paint look great is the prep work that goes into the car before the paint goes on. Don't worry about the car, it will go from a bunch of sanded primer to paint in a few hours. Remember, painting is the last thing they do before telling you to pick up the car.
