Default paint problems already...

So last weekend I am washing my 07 gt not even 2 weeks old and I find some spots in my paint that almost looks like its under my clear coat and then I have a couple similar looking spots on my windshield… so I take it to ford and the guy says it looks like its some acid rain spots and can be buffed out? Ever hear of this? and they don’t do this kind of work on the weekends so I have to get a rental for that day to get to work …. I’m real happy about that……

wait until you start noticing little dents or bumps! Look around the rear tire wheel well.
These are Fords, not Ferraris! Great paint jobs are not at the top of their list! Volume is!

Your dealer should be fixing any paint issues for free with a free rental! TIme to speak to the head cheese!

I was gonna tell you, don't leave your car parked next to the water sprinklers. My dad's f150 has those ugly spots all over his car. One time i parked mine on a street for about 15 mins (for the first time too) and those stupid sprinklers turned out and sprayed water all over it. Now considering that the water that comes out of them has a little chlorine in it,I wouldn't be surprised if it left a PERMANENT damage on the paint. in 15 mins i was at the carwash at 11:30pm, sweating the fact that those stains might not come off, fortunately they did. be careful with those.

I bought mine used, love the car, but after a month I installed some flourescent lights in the garage. Man you can see every blemish under those. I found fish eye on the decklid, one of those things I have to deal with. +1 to Orion_240, butwe still buy them, and love em.

3 different dealerships said I was SOL and they were not responsible for it. Even after the paint chipped away... Even after showing them the TSB that talks about it. They wanted nothing to do with me.
