Yea I was back down at my dealership yesterday because my girl is buying a new fusion and I went in to talk to the sales manager and said I need a loaner for the day and he was pretty cool about it so they are covering it under warranty and giving me a free loaner …. My family also did just buy 3 cars in two weeks so I had a little bit of pull there … the body shop guy is a *** tho I was like I want you to go over the whole car because if I bring it back because of more spots you missed I am going to be pissed….. he gave me all this bs about how my appt is only for a few spots and they don’t have time for the whole car.. so we will see....one more question for you guys… it looks like I have the same type of spots on my windshield … can they “buff” that out or is that a new windshield?

RedFire shows mineral deposits really bad. Almost as bad as
Black. I am constantly trying to keep bird poop and tree sap
off the paint. Can you wax too much? I use wax to get rid of
blems that linger after washing with the spot-free typecar wash.

First, to olvanish. Wrong post if you go to a car wash. Anyway, A good cleaner/wax will remove the acid rain spots with an orbital polisher. I would avoid buffing if you can because it can be tricky if you don't know how to do it. When you remove the spots just keep a good wax job on it and dry it when youhand wash it and it will be fine. Don't go to a car wash. The brushes scratch the paint, you get the crap spray wax whether you want it or not and the water is full of grit as it is recycled.

As for the windshield, try a petroleum based cleaner like tar remover or even some gas. I get horrible spots on my car if I don't dry it because of lime in the water. I used meguires 3 step 4 days after I bought mine and there isn't a spot on my paint but it wasn't bad to begin with except for the fact that there was no wax on the car. I spent half a day cleaning and waxing just 1st week of June and I will wax again soon. You can never wax enough, but I'm ****. I like my paint to be slick so I will probably put some super gloss on there too. Hope some of this helps. Let me know.
