Default Strange electronic issues

I'm getting some "demons" in my 07 GT, and wondered if anyone else had similar problems....

The volume on the radio randomly turned DOWN today...(i do not have the shaker 500 or 1000, just base stereo) usually the speed sensitive sound only goes up...

and my "auto down" feature on the driver's side window doesn't always work. i hit both the driver and passenger side buttons simultaneously, and the driver's side signal doesn't latch and continue to open. (50% of the time)

if anyone has a clue, i'd appreciate it before i took it to the dealer, as these issues will undoubtebly not be found by the service techs. thx!

Do you have the dreaded passengers side
water leak? Is your carpet wet over there?
The SJB is probably getting wet from the
unadvertised under dash water dispenser.
Leaky Stangs are a well known problem.[:@]

Wow, too coincidental! On my way home from work today, after warming up the GT, I raise the volume on the Shaker 500 and the sound quality is all gargled and sounds muffled(?!?). I turn the stereo off and turn it back on and it disappears(hmmmm?) and sounds normal. Never had that happen before in either of the GTs I've owned('05 & now '06), or any other car I've owned. Very bizarre indeed........

Same thing happened to mine once. Contributed to my decision to dump the Skipper 500, and I never looked back.....No SJB leak here. As far as the windows, check your owners manual, and do the steps to re-program the windows. If that does not solve the issue, dealer time!!

SJB = Smart Junction Box
Passengers side under the kick panel.
Remove the door sill and kick panel
and get under the carpet to the pad.
Is it wet? Moldy smell?

for the window, with you in the car, door fully closed, pull the window switches up and HOLD for 3-5 seconds

you will hear a click. its the window travel resetting itself and you will get full auto up and down function

i hope its something as simple as that and not the SJB

Sound like the passenger kick panel leak. It happened to me during a down fall of stormy rain, all gauges were out of whack and stereo was acting up. Had to disconnect my battery for a few minutes and re install. Every thing was back to normal. I checked the rug and it was wet. I took it to these bastards of a dealers and they can't find the source of the leak. This weekend I'll be checking another dealer.Very upset with fords quality and their dealers. Also dealing with the thunking noise up front. The dealer said it was a loose stabilizer link and the tightened it. Bull sh*t. Man so disappointed with this car, thinking hard about trading it in for anything other an American car.
