Go with the Cobra but only if it's a perfect low miler. The vehicle is far superior and definately a keeper.

I'm considering selling my GT and going Cobra right now.
Put the Crack pipe down.............All the mods and your thinking about the Cobra? Grass is always greener i guess?

Keep the Rousch. Newer car and looks a lot nicer not to mention the repair costs will be higher on an older car.

I've heard that non-abused Cobras are hard to find, I'd be worried that I would miss something while inspecting it. The S197 after-market is getting better every day. I would keep the Roush. Some of those Terminators sure can fly, though.

Roush, because its newer, less probs, and it shouldnt be too slow compared to a cobra.

Nice looking Roush. What Stage is it...one or two? Which hood is that?

Considering your mods I would think you'll highly regret that move. Yes, the terminator engine is really nice......but it rests under the hood of a car that is built on a 25 yo Fairlane/LTD platform. The S197 is built on a modified DEW98 platform from Jaguar. Your mods put you waaay over the stock Cobra's performance.......so why would you do this? The only thing I can think of is you road race or auto x......because drag racing an IRS is going to be more headache than it's worth.

Do you have a pic of the cobra? Whats the milage? location? need more info on the cobra.... anyways I'd say keep the Roush and save for the Cobra. Thats what I did with my S/C 05. Iamso gladI didn't sell my 05and nowI have a really hot, moded, low miles Mach1 and my 05 which I think is waymore comfortable than previouse generations.

Not to mention the SN95 stangs rode like $hit and rattled like crazy.
A bit off-topic, but my '95 GT had 95k miles when I sold it last year and it didn't have a single squeak or rattle (interior or suspension/chassis).

Glad to hear you're keeping the Roush. I drove my SN-95 Mustang for 9 years and I think the S197 is at an entirely different level beyond the SN-95. The 450rwhp limit on the stock 4.6 can be overcome for a few thousand dollars with forged internals. Once that's done, you can swap pulleys, improve fuel management, get a custom tune, and be at 650+rwhp pretty easily. It's a no-brainer.

You can Mod a new GT all you like but you'll never get one withIRS, the 32 valve motor and the 6-speed gearboxto name just a few of the Terminators killer attributes.

The Terminator is the Car the new [so called] Shelby should have had kinship with instead of being a bloated GT, it is THE archetypal Killer Mustang and always will be.

My 1998 Cobra was a total POS.....in fact, after selling that car Ipromised my wife I would never own another Mustang.........then comes the S197.

Night and day difference. My wife just laughed at me and said she knew I wouldn't keep that promise.
