Default BFG Drag Radials

I am stuck at 13.9s in the 1/4 on my 19" rims and Pirellis. I am considering the BFG G Force drag radials. Who has these and what are you opinions? I was also looking the Mickey Thompson ET Street deal at Brenspeed but I don't like the idea of driving to and from the track (30miles each way) with radials on the front and Bias on the back, That's an accident waiting to happen. I also don't want to change the tires at the track. These tires will be removed the day after racing so I won't be driving every day on them.

Any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated.

I think stkjock has them on the rear only. You may want to PM him.

I do in fact have them.....

265/40/18 on the stock 18" bullits... I have not tested them really hard yet... but in the minor stuff I've done... the hooked well.

drop form 4th to 2nd @ 45ish... just a chirp and go.... from a dig... quick clutch slip at 2500 ish... a little chrip and go....

but they are not made in 19".... 14/15/17/18 only... so u'll get another rim set for them? if you do 15/17 probably best with a tall tire with big sidewall for you launch!

Look for the tire manufacturer's minimum rim width recommendation. The factory Bullitts are 17x8. Although others here have mounted 275 DR's on 17x8 rims, I'd trust the tire company more.

ahhh.. that's the old tread pattern... I have and was looking @ the new pattern. The diamond shaped one....

and that size is a bit big for a 8" rim.... but if your not using them as a DD mabye you could get away with it...

Minimum rim width recommendation is 8 1/2 but they won't be used as DD tires. I figured if I deflated them a little more than normal I'd counteract the bow in the tread from a small rim.
