Has anyone purchased from jmschip.com? They have a hell of a deal on a sct tuner and jms cold air intake for around 450 bucks. Is the intake junk? Sct tuners are selling for around 380 by themselves so this seems like a steal! Thanks, Dan

 

I see several things wrong with the deal....

1. They have a setup with kits that look good but in reality dont really produce those gains....just like RPMOutlet
2. The just add a filter and sleeve (maybe $50 in parts)
3. There is no heat sheild
4. You have to use the stock boot which means the airlflow is very hindered still.
5. The sct tuner appears to have the "canned" tunes which wont really produce the same gains as with a Brenspeed or B ama tune.
6. The disclaimer reads:
NOTE:All testing completed on a Mustang Dyno with stock exhaust. Increased power gains may be seen when combined with other modifications and aftermarket exhaust.

They could have added pullies or whatever who the hells knows.

Just but a CAI/combo from brenspeed or b ama or get a dyno tune....if you arent paying 600+ then you are probably getting ripped off in some way or another.
