That's great. I couldn't believe it when my wife suggested that I should get the Shelby GT, after we both saw one in a showroom.Just today, she said that she is glad that I got a car I liked so much.

Nice. I have an awesome wife as well. I sold the TA a few years ago for the mini van and then last year she wanted me to get the mustang for my b-day. Her only request was that it be a convertible.....Oh darn! After about a year she said that I was working hard and could get the supercharger I was looking at....it was installed 2 weeks ago. I think I'll be keeping her around (the wife that is)!

Congratulations on the new car. Show us some pics when you get a chance!

no, let's hear it for YOU.

hard work pays off. and the nostalgia factor with the car is a great bonus.

women get all the shoes and purses that they dream about - we deserve ours desirables as well (if the finances are in order of course).

MustangSal, welcome to the forums! You have a wonderful wife. I enjoyed reading your story.

When I discussed getting a Mustang with my wife she was very supportive too. She knew I've always wanted one. I was shopping around for a used Mustang, but she thought I deserved a new Mustang.

We're putting the top down and taking a ride this morning.

I know you're going to love your new Mustang!
