LSD Fluid Change Intervals? (T-Lok)

LSD Fluid Change Intervals? (T-Lok)
I was recently told by an SAE master mechanic that the limited slip differentials need to have their fluid changed on a regular basis, whereas a standard diff can go for almost ever without changing the fluid. I'll be honest, I didn't know this. He said that usually it should be changed about every 15k miles. I've searched for our cars, and can't find the interval time for the change or what fluid to use. The 07 manual lists the the fluid for a 4.6L diff, but doesn't specifically say it includes the LSD - which I was told was most likely a different fluid. Anybody know? Thanks!

the manual says that the rear ends use a synthetic lubricant and never have to be changed unless the diff goes under water...yeah right, I'm probably gonna change mine every 15k, maybe every 30k...

i saw that in the maintenance schedule, but
i knew no one could live without changing their
diff fluid every couple of years lol

have any of you gotten a new cover and or girdle? one with a fill AND a drain bolt?
it annoys me that there is no drain bolt and you have to pull the entire cover to drain the fluid

Im considering a new girdle... Don't like the idea of having more fluid in than stock, since that could promote a leak... (Even if you use the same fill level as stock, its still an overall higher amount of fluid)
Eh, I'll probably still do it once I have some extra money to throw around.

RE: LSD Fluid Change Intervals?
Update: When I was at the dealership I bought the car from today (replacing a scratched door panel when I bought it), I headed over to the service department to ask this question. I was told the LSD (most on here call it the T-Lok, so does the manual) took the same fluid as stated in the owner's manual, but you have to add a 4oz bottle of friction modifier that Ford sells. As for the intervals, I was told there was no set time, around 100k miles would be good. I thought they were crazy on that...
