Default Bra Question

I have a CDC Classic chin spoiler on my car and I need to get a bra to help protect it from the chips I get from the highway. Does anyone have a bra on their car that has the chin spoiler? If you do, where and how much?

I also have the Street Scene Gen 1 from bumper on the other car. Street Scene doesn't carry a bra for this front bumper. Does anyone have one on their car? If so, how much and where?

Your car is amazingly hot. Don't get a bra. Try clearcoating it instead.

why would you buy the wonderful body mods and cover them up? clear bra's are expensive IMO vs what it would cost me to reshoot the front of my GT.

The things that is driving me to cover it with a bra is because I am getting tired of painting the front the front end and even filling up the chips. I just had the one with the Street Scene kit repainted for the 2nd time. I do alot of highway traveling and all these rock and dirt chips is tearing it up. I bra may be a little ugly but it will help save me from painting the front end all the time whcih over time will get expensive as hell.

maybe you'd like the clear bra but the $800 I got quoted to install it turned me away. I just try and keep my distance from situations where I might get a chip.....been decentlysuccessful so far.......but not my any means perfect.

Just my opinion but your car looks amazing and I would spend the extra $$$ to get a clear bra.

I'm pretty sure the custom bras that are made for our mustangs don't fit if you have the chin spoiler.
Maybe it can be modified... Check the 2nd pic. That's the Ford bra
I just use the part that goes on the front of my hood, as it's easy to get on and off, and i don't drive too many long trips.
You might find it cheaper to just keep repairing and painting your front end then buying a Clear Bra that may not protect against big rocks and pebbles. It would be a shame to spend $800, or even a cut rate $400, and then find a big piece missing off the bumper or spoiler two months later.

Even though the regular vinyle bra looks a little ugly, I think it would give it that little extra protection. one repainting would take care of the price of the bra. You can only put so many layers of paint on a car before you have to start removing some layers. I guess I will have to look for a custom leather/upholstering shop to get one made. I can start off with the Ford Bra and have them modify it to fit the cars.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Here is a little better shot of the car.

I don't get it. You don't want the front of your car to get stone chipped because it'll look bad. So.... you want a Bra which will
a) hide your flawless paint
and
b) Look like crap

Get out of the 80's () and buy the clear covering

I may be stuck in the 80's but the bras are better made these days. I would rather have a little padding up front than something clear without padding that could still chip the paint. It only takes a few minutes to put one on and off and in my opion it is worth it. As far as hiding my flawless paint job, it is not flawless right now but I plan on making it flawless this winter. As far as looking like crap, who cares going down the road. Are you going to stare at a car's front end while driving down the highway? I hope you are paying more attention to what is in front of you than what isbehind you. I also live in a rural area and the bugs are pretty bad. Out here we have some huge ones and sure you can wash them off but some of them stain the paint and I would also imagine it would stain the clear bra.
