Did you put your stripe on before or after the scoop? Do the 2 side stripes have to be put on separately? Nice car btw.

I did my Superstripe install. First time I ever did stripes, so I took my time. The hood probably took me about 2 or so hours to do. 400.00 is way out of line. Just read, read, and re-read the instructions from Rob over at Baltimore Street Mods. Plan on taking plenty of time, and try to have an extra set of hands to help, at least when you peel that big ol stripe from the backing. If it folds over on itself, you have problems......

You can certainly do it yourself, just be very patient, use lots of wetting solution, and read the directions. The hood is a challenge because of all the complex angles you are dealing with, but again, very do-able....

Good luck,
Mike

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being supercharger install, 2 beinga CAI, what would you rate a stripe install?

The hood scoop was already on my car, so I took it off, did the stripe install, then re-installed the scoop. The side pin-stripes are a complete and separate stripe from the main 18 inch center stripe. Trust me, you get the 18 inch stripe on, the pin-stripes are a walk in the park. Nothing to them at all....Thanks for thecompliments....

Scale of 1-10, per your question????? 4, only because you need to be VERY PATIENT!!!!

Its extremely easy to slide around, until it dries or you squeegee out the water it will continue to slide. When squeegeeing make sure you don't press to hard and accidentally pull up the vinyl.

Do you have a squeegee or anything to do it with? If you don't, go to Walmart and buy the window tinting kit, it costs like two bucks for a squeegee and a razor blad. It really really helps.
