Run Flats?
Yesterday, i was doing some tire shopping and called this company and starting asking about prices and sizes....he asked me if they were "run flats"...im not quite sure what this means, though it sounds like a term that makes the tires more expensive....anyone know?

RE: Run Flats?
They reccomend like 50 miles I think. It is just enough to get home or to a shop to get it fixed. These tires have significant reinforcement to accomplish this task. They could have completely no pressure and look fine from the outside. That is why cars that come with them stock have TPMS. Cars that come with these stock also have no spare tire. It helps with weight and packaging.
To my knowledge Run flats have never been OEM on a mustang.
If you are interested in dumping the spare you can use these just be prepared for a stiff ride. Almost no sidewall flex. Alot of people who get them OEM switch them out for regular tires.

RE: Run Flats?
There are pros and coms..
They are not OEM on a Mustang..
I rather have the spare..Why..well they are very difficult to find and replace at a moments notice...much more expensive..
pros are obvious.but after 50 miles then what..
