I have the money and want to do this mod - I waited a year to mod....
either way, my questions still stand. Can anyone tell me why Alternative and Evolution claim superior auto tuning? But most people seem to run with b am a and bren... What criteria makes the tunes different? Any help is help as I sit with money to spend and 20-30hp to unlease!!!
I am going to start contacting the actual shops as I have heard they are very helpful, but I just am curious as to the opinions in here.

I have the stock gears, no idea why my trap speed isn't higher, I am new to the track, I am just happy I ran a 13.3! And to answer the earlier questions Doug is banned from the site because he didn't want to pay whatever MF wanted to charge for him to advertise on the site. Doug is a one man team and I had him email me a tune and then an updated tune in which took him no longer than a day to send me.

What Gears are you running, with that 13.3 @ 103 trap speed looks like your running 4.10's if you are running 3.31 why is'nt your trap speed higher?

Goooo Evolution for autos. Its no joke when you step on it with the 93 extreme tune.I cant imagine how it will feel with gears i should be getting.....But Fred at evolution replied on the emails i sent him the very next day! I havnt tried the other tunes but i have a feeling they are all pretty much the same...but when it comes to customer service Fred has it taken care of. Go to Evolutions site and get the email and he should get back to ya.

I havent tried the the others, but I love the my 91Torq B A M A tune. I have an auto with 4.10's, Basani X and AEM CAI and the car seriously moves. Shifts are great, little to no throttle lag anymore. And if you have a Predator Tuner like me, Doug is the only/best choice to go with.

I had Lidio do a custom dyno tune on my automatic Mustang partly because only Doug, I believe, has a tune specifically for the Granatelli CAI. And also I am just a few miles from his shop in Metro Detroit and I had heard that he has so much experience with the auto trans. He runs his own automatic with great success. All I can say is I love how my car turned out with his tune.
