Default DID I KILL A COUPLE HORSES OR SOMETHING???

When I first got my car, I could roll from 20 in 2nd, stuff the accelerator and that b*tch pulled pretty damn hard. I don't "rag" the **** out of my car, however she feels a little sluggish now (below 3,000 rpms). I can't tell if I'm just used to it so it doesn't impress me like it first did or if she's lost a few horses.

She's still bone stock and at about 1,700 miles. It still pulls nice &HARDat 3,000rpms and up, but she just doesn't feel as strong below that.

Is this normal, I'm I just used to it or does the crisp new engine lose a little of it's snappinessafter abit of a break-in?

Ahhhh yes, the ol' adaptive management. Disconnect your battery and wait ten to twenty minutes and then reconnect.... you should feel the horses again.

if anything, the opposite should be true...maybe it's time for your first oil change (mobil one)...if that doesn't do it, then start modding...

You shouldve changed oil at 500miles. Get that metal filled crap out of there.

Anyways, yes, unplug the battery.

+ 1 for adaptive driving thing.

I run interstate all week long on cruise and my car is a slug unless I do the reset trick by turning the key on(not starting) depress the gas slowly to the floor taking5 second then take 5 to come back up.....run the crap out of it.

I must really be new...what will unplugging the battery do? What's adaptive management? And won't unplugging the battery reset everything/make you have to put in a code for the radio, etc?

reseting battery does not reset radio stations for me, but it does reset bass/treble/clock. Its worth it through.

As for the gas pedal thing, does that really reset the computer? I thought it only recalibrated the throttle or something?
