Default tune on the way - question tho...

hey guys

thanks to all the good advce i've gotten from reading this forum, i decided to buy the sct x-calibrator 2 from brenspeed; it should be arriving next week.

here's my question though (well, two really): before downloading the performance tune into the pony, should i save the stock tune file or does this happen automatically? and do i have to re-load the stock file when i bring the car back to ford?

thanks in advance for your help!

Mine did it automatically
and I would put the stock tune back on before I went, its up to you.
tell them the battery died or you unplugged it, but drive around a few hundred before you bring it in or else they will have to ask "why did you unplug it like 10 minutes ago?"

It saves your stock tune and installs the new tune.
When I go to the dealer I install the stock tune and disconnect the battery the night before.
They have never asked, but I can always tell them I disconnected and hooked the battery charger up because the cheap factory battery is getting low.
