Couple of questions... differences between the b ama and bren speed tunes? what is SCT vs diablo? reading lots of other threads and i'm missing some of the basics.

I'm surprised no one has opened up the flame thrower on you yet. This is a well documented series of questions, but as far as B@ma and brenspeed they both offer good tune options, just depends on where and who you hear it from. SCT and Diablosport are companies that make the tuner, and are consider the best options for our car, and B@MA is considered a curse word in some states, i.e. Tennesee, and Florida. So we don't want to hurt their feelings. No, but really I heard it had something to do with site sponsorship, and also something about SPAM.

 

 

Do a search through the forum and you will find a lot of threads on tunes. From what I gather B A M A , Brenspeed , evolution and VMP are the most used. Last month a guy posted dyno results with a auto gt and he got the most Horse Power from B A M A. This doesn't conclude B A M A is the best but gives one stat in thier favor.Evolution is claiming thier tune is night and day better. I PMed them to get some information (friday so they were probably out for the weekend).Thier are a lot of other variables to look at, throttle rsponce torque etc. As for SCT vs preditor, they will not make a differece in terms of power but are more of a means to get the tune loaded. I have researched and more tunners use sct then the preditor. So for me that is a no brainer. Anyway this is what i have learned so far. I'm also in the market for a tune and CAIbut am doing lots of research before buying.
